Environmental Fund for Arizona

What We Do

Environmental Fund for Arizona (EFAZ) is a vibrant alliance of 29 environmental and conservation nonprofits all across the state. We support our member groups primarily through workplace giving and outreach programs. We connect our member groups with Arizona employees to also serve as a green hub for environmental education, outreach, volunteer projects, and so much more! But what makes us unique is that we're Arizona's only green choice in workplace giving.

How You Can Help

Through EFAZ, you can support Arizona's environment by starting a green campaign at your workplace, giving an individual gift, or hosting a fundraiser! It's a terrific and easy way to 'green' your community outreach efforts at work through one source.

Your gifts to EFAZ and our member organizations truly make a difference. Together, we can help preserve the beauty that is Arizona and improve the quality of life for both people and wildlife.

Desert Foothills Land Trust

EFAZ member Desert Foothills Land Trust is working in partnership with the Town of Cave Creek on a long-term effort to protect 4,000 acres of State Trust lands in our community.  Known as the FORCE (Friends of Recreation, Conservation and the Environment) Initiative, protection of these lands will connect several Land Trust properties and county parks, and will form a conservation and recreation corridor from the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve to the Tonto National Forest.

It's a terrific piece about the importance of wildlife, the protection and preservation of habitat, and the effects on the larger ecosystem.

The majority of our EFAZ member groups work on these issues, including Liberty Wildlife, Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, and Wild At Heart. Members Grand Canyon Wildlands Council and Museum of Northern AZ are quoted specifically.
